• In the first round ‘crossing the bridge’ （过桥）they cut 133 contestants to 30 contestants and I did not cross the bridge.
• 10 special scholarships, however, were handed out after this first round, and I was awarded 优秀风采奖- “most elegant demeanor”

Preliminary Competition

• I won the Quebec Chinese Bridge preliminary competiton, with the following speech:

• An ‘artistic’ perfomance:

• And ten trivia questions, like match these top 5 largest lakes to their cities.
• I scored the highest from a combination of all three - and was off to Beijing + Changsha!
